SUMMER 2011

Well, Summer is finally here and it's hot!!!

In April I was able to join the SEMVA, (South Eastern Minnesota Visual Artists) gallery in Rochester, MN.  It's been fun getting to know other artist's in the area, especially artists working in other media, since I tend to hang with other watercolorists.

I recently painted a group of commissions for a local nursing home.  They were fairly large acrylics, see below.  It's kind of springboarded me into wanting to do a real series, say 15 - 20 paintings in watercolor of subject matter similar to these...we'll see!
